My dear old Ma loved Musicals and we had loads of Albums of such like . So I was aware of them at an early age She even dragged me to the Cinema to see The King And I . As for Sound Of Music . Not a fan . Loved Mary Poppins All time none Rock Musical has to be Wizard Of Oz . Somewhere Over The Rainbow ! I have to fast forward through that song as I get all a bit teary eyed . Plus there is the double whammy of The Dark Side Of The Oz . For people who are still reading this post and may not have heard about the Dark Side of Oz You stick your Floyd Dark Side Of the Moon on and stick it on pause right away . Then stick in your W.O.O. film in your DVD Player and turn the sound off . Press play and wait for the MGM`s Lions second roar and then start your Floyd CD . Cosmic !
And who did`n t love Tommy ?! Then you have Little Shop Of Horrors ! "Feed Me Seymour " Great film . Anyway . Nice One BMP74 ! The More the merrier ! as I`ve said . The guessing here it will be a Saturday . The only Sat`s I cant do are the 4 Oct (Hawkwind ) and the 13th of Dec (The Who , even though Iv`e no ticket just yet )

You see I knew somebody would level this one at me but I didn't think it would be you Mr M, let me explain. As the Beatles were portraying themselves, a popular beat combo, in a 'Hard Day's Night', it's reasonable to expect that occasionally they may break into a number, this to me = real life!!! On the flip side, using 'Rock of Ages' as an example, in the opening scenes around 30 people on a Greyhound Bus begin to sing the same song with solo parts for random passengers thrown in for good measure, it's as though it was all pre-planned??? This to me = Not real life!!! I rest my case M'lud...

Yes, my hard rock exterior belies someone who would like The Sound of Music. I take your point. It's a weak argument though. I still think you should try it. It gets very sinister with the Nazi angle.

You guys just know I had to look! Since there's little Beatle fanatics on here (lennon66) I'll just put up a 'R'-rated photo I found.

So I went onto google and had a quick look at this picture without the post-it-notes and she looks absolutely great. I also saw some other more disturbing pictures that I can only describe as 'Poppins Porn'....there are certainly some warped minds out there!
