Hi Everyone!
Pretty soon we will have rotated round 365-ish days and it’ll be Beatle Week again, so that’s surely worth an enthusiastic “woohoo”!
So if you are planning on going to Liverpool this August, whether it's your 1st or 21st time, please do come and have a few drinks and a friendly chat with your fellow Beatle Forum members! This has proved to be a huge success over the past 9 years, so much so that we are shifting the meet-up to a larger venue this year!
Not only is it a great way to meet like-minded people from across the entire globe but you will make many new friends that you will keep bumping into over the course of this Beatle Week and most likely future Beatle Weeks (whether you like it or not!). It has certainly enabled me to make so many great friends over the years!
So here are those all-important details – REGULAR BEATLE WEEKERS PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE AND DAY CHANGES:
SUNDAY 24th August at 12:00 midday in The ADELPHI PUB (Fridays Bar)
NOTE: As this will be Convention Day, there will likely be a £10 entry charge (unless you’re on a CCT package) but this will allow you all day and evening access to every one of the live music rooms, the main stage and the record and memorabilia markets - possibly the best ten quid you will ever spend!
Here are a few of the other benefits of having the meet up on Convention Day:
We won’t all be cramped into a little corner as we have been in previous years.
During the meet-up we could maybe pick out an itinerary of bands for us all to see at the various venues in the Adelphi, as we will have an unprecedented number of bands to select from!
We wouldn't require a complete wardrobe change as it’s not as sticky and steamy as the Cavern Pub or Club!
But the main thing for me is it’ll give us all the opportunity to have a proper catch up and we’ll be able to spend more time together listening to bands etc.
If you would like my mobile number, do please feel free to PM me.
Really looking forward to seeing you all there again this year – it’s gonna be a blast!
