Only 5 weeks to go now. Like Al, I can't wait! This is the highlight of my year - every year. I'm retired from work now so I've added an extra day onto my stay in Liverpool. I'm now arriving in Liverpool on Friday 22 August and leaving on Wednesday 22 August. I'm so looking forward to meeting old (that's you Al! ) and new Beatles fans alike.
Out of curiosity, are YOU coming along this year? If so, have you subscribed to a Beatles package with the Cavern Club?
If you're participating in the Beatleweek Festival, how long are you staying and what are the main attractions you want to see? For me, Beatles, beer, banter, burgers and bloody hell, bring the bugger on!
Hope to see you all in Liverpool.

I am coming over this year from the Friday to the Monday. I usually come from Saturday to the Tuesday. This year thought flights from Ireland from the Saturday to the Tuesday were at awkward times and expensive. On the plus side I get Friday night in the adelphi but on the down side i will miss the last night Monday which is usually excellent. But at least I get to go . My Dad and and brother in law are coming with me this year.
Havent got a package so wont be doin the sit down shows but rarely go to them anyways... Looking forward to meeting everyone....

I have not got a package so I cannot go to this concert. And I hear the fab faux are not doing any other concerts that weekend. Frustrating!

Hello hello guys,
Let me introduce myself and then jump right to business. My name is Sergey and I live in a far-away Siberian city of Barnaul which is around 7000 km from Liverpool. I dare you to google it but don't jump to conclusions - we also have hardcore Beatles fans in the middle of our Nowhereland. I wish I could visit Beatleweek 2014 events in Liverpool but since my friends and me don't have such opportunity right now we decided to have our own Beatlenight.
The thing is that we have a very cool roof, and we got an approval from the authorities, and the roof is the building of a very broad-minded radio station called Silver Rain radio. And the guys from the radio are glad to support this crazy idea technically and with coverage.
So, we gathered 6 local bands that are willing and able and we're going to rock on the roof just like the Beatles did, you know the story anyway.
Now, why am I here? Well, I got another crazy idea while planning this whole affair. Why don't we establish a kind of a live link with Liverpool and have an interview with someone who's actually responsible for Beatleweek events in there? This would quickly create enough heat around the event to attract lots of people to it. It's not about money because the entrance is free. We just want to have more people remember and share the importance of good music, love and good vibrations. Thus, we employ all possible means to make this night even more memorable.
Do you think you know someone who could go live (via Skype probably) and share some insight on the Beatleweek itself (the history, importance and such stuff), maybe cheer local guys up and generally make a small talk?
Maybe you are right here on this forum? I would really appreciate any help with this. You can contact me via skype if you think it's more convenient (krotoffs.trans).
I wish you all love, harmony and happiness

Hi Sergey! Greetings from London! :-) Sorry you can't be there at Beatle Week in person but it's wonderful to hear how you're keeping the vibe alive 7,000 km away in "Nowehere Land" Barnaul Unfortunately we are not affiliated with the organisers of Beatle Week (Cavern City Tours) but I will send your proposal on to them in the hope that they'll be able to do "something" for you on the night. What night did you have in mind, by the way? Regardless of whether Cavern City Tours are able arrange something in time for next week, I'll make sure that we send you all a message from Liverpool when we get together for our Beatle Forum meet up on Sunday 24th August. In the meantime, I'm sure everyone here will join me in wishing you all the best for your own Beatle event - sounds like it's going to be a brilliant night up there on the roof! If you'd like to send me your email address via personal message on here, I'll pass it on along with your post to Cavern City Tours. Peace, love, harmony and happiness to everyone in Siberia. All the best, AL
