But never knew about her connection to The Beatles. She did many chat shows but no mention. Nope she will not talk about Paul. I've seen people ask her and she just shakes her head no. Their relationship lasted from 4-18-1963 to 7-20 1968. A little over 5 years. 'We Can Work it Out' was written about Jane. |

Interesting. He was with Jane until 7/20/68. By November of that year he had already hooked up with Linda and was married to her until her death. I'm calculating November 1968 because all the internet references state that Mary Anna McCartney was born August 28, 1969.
Remember Mary's pretty little face inside Paul's coat on the back of the McCartney album?

I think it was the way Paul went about the breakup that pissed off Jane more than anything and she'll never forgive him for that. They were actually engaged to be married at Christmas time 1967 for a Feb. 1968 marriage. Paul first met Linda when she was in London on assignment to photograph rock stars in May 1967, they met at a dinner at Brian's house for the release of Sgt. Peppers. A year later in May 1968, he met her again in NY, where she was living, when John & him went to inform the press of the formation of Apple Corps. After the breakup with Jane, he phoned Linda in NY, in Sept. 1968, if she would meet up with him in London. Six months later they were married.
