That entire post pretty much made my day. Sadly, I don't have any new favorite pictures yet because I'm new to this and am just discovering favorite pictures from all of you. Btw, paulie, about the last 10 or so of your pictures are repeated in your post.

Never seen this one before Paulie! Totally appeals to my love of him and my love of science fiction. We could just send him up into space and he'd get sucked through a wormhole and end up captain of some alien spaceship and fighting bad guys. Or he could be an undercover Time Agent! One of Jack Harkness's friends or something. He's actually from the 51st century! Sorry, ran away with my overactive imagination for a bit there.

Never seen this one before Paulie! Wow, in his face there is like a Photoshop equal blend of "1964 Eager and Innocent AHDN Paul" and "1968 Tired and Jaded TWA Paul". All at one moment in time, it's like the right side of his face (left side of the picture) is young, and the other side is old! Incredible - thanks for the pic! (Am I nuts, does anyone else sort of see this too?)

I always liked the pic of Sir Paul on the back cover of his first album. With little baby James (I guess it was) poking his head out from under Sir Paul's coat. I'm sorry I can't post it, but I'm sure everyone knows the pic I'm talking about. Linda was a fantastic photographer and is truely missed in this reguard.

Thanks Amadeus for posting that pic. I smile everytime I see it. lol Out of all the Beatle kids I think Stella is the only one that seems to have a successful business of her own . All the others just seem to be bouncing around. lol

Paul McCartney is so great , with no matter what he does he always seems to write a better song then the last. Even with the last album he made Kiss on the bottom was a great album with mostly great hits from the 1940's . He did write this one song that is called my valentine which is a song for his new wife Nancy. Paul Mccartney is a genius. Paul will never get boring with this songwriting. Yes John Lennon was part of his creativity that he has today. band on the run though is what made his solo career. Anyother artist would need a boost and yes he did have the beatles but Band on the run is so good.

good one Mr Kite, Ethan Russell is one of my fave Rock photographers.
Plus he's pretty brave climing around that roof with all that kit round his neck (and touring with the late60s/early70s Stones)
