I was introduced to The Beatles by my uncle, who was a huge fan, so I always knew about them. My younger sister's name is Judy, and I remember when I was about 8 him getting a request in the radio for "Hey Jude." I got into the 60's and 70's by a friend in middle school who got me into The Doors, then I went on from there. It wasn't until I started college and met the girl of my dreams that she really got me into them. I'll be 29 in July, and since the age of 13, I only listen to the 60's 70's, Pink Floyd, Doors, Zeppelin, Who, Supertramp, Steely Dan, etc etc..
What I find is if you show the kids who don't know them, and if they give it a chance, they become huge fans. I'm always burning CD's, giving them to friends, sometimes randomnly leaving them at school, restaurant, with instructions such as "Take this CD"
Spread the word...

Everyone here is going crazy that Paul is coming. Including several teenagers and college students.
Me, I'm 28, and am going to see him. Picked up a ticket just this morning! I am really excited - I missed him last time he was here (hell, I was 10!), and it'll be great to see him live, finally.

Oh, and my story is that I grew up listening to the Beatles. My mom raised me on the Beatles, and there was always Beatles music playing in the house.
She also saw them live twice in the 60's, saw Paul in the 90's, and saw Ringo and Julian with me in the late 90's.
She said that the concerts she went to in the 60's were insane! So many girls were screaming, that she could barely hear the band play.
