Given the complete and utter madness the world is going through right now, I cannot wait to visit Liverpool for Beatle Week 2021!
Although I don’t post anywhere near as much as I used to, right here, the original Beatle Forum, is where I have met so many great friends with whom I have met and stayed in touch with, all thanks to this wonderful place. Facebook has killed off so many other forums, which is why I am so glad the regular posters here have kept the Beatle Forum alive - and as long as you’re still here, I’ll continue paying the web fees!
I’ll be in Liverpool from Thurs 26 Aug to Tue 31 Aug I really hope you can join me at some juncture! I don’t know what day would be best to do the proper forum meet up yet - but if you’re going, perhaps you could let me know when you’ll be there and we can decide when is best.
Let’s Get Back to where we once belonged!

Had a bloody wonderful day at Liverpool.
Met up with Al .
And that was it from the Forum , but of course by now I think Al knows everyone at Beatle weekend !
We did lots of catching up and also stood at the side of me for most part of the afternoon was Julia ( Lennon ) Baird !
Didn't have nerve to get a photo or even talk to her .
In awe , I guess
Also had an interview with a Canadian woman who is in London at the kings college doing a PHD in Beatle fandom .
Insane!
I talked her to death I think .
Alcohol and me talking about a passion of mine can go on a bit .
Anyway!
It was nice to get to Liverpool again

I`m having a nightmare trying to get my photos up at the mo the igmure with all there wisdom have changed the set up and I don`t have a clue where the links have gone ! In the mean time . I`ve booked to stay in The Hard Day`s Night Hotel for one night on the 9th of October ! (yes , it`s Johnny`s birthday ) That means I`ll be mostly staying in to pay for the very expensive place ! A once in a life time trip and no mistake . So it`s ! Mr Kite goe`s to Liverpool again and if any member is in the Pool that day , lets meet up ! |
