I went along to see this Yesterday, I know it got mixed reviews as most of Richard Curtis's work has got recently but i really enjoyed it . The cruellest quote i saw was that The lead character singing Beatles songs makes the Beatles sound like Coldplay, but hopefully the young will after seeing this check out The Beatles versions. It's quite an interesting idea for a film and there were some scenes that made me laugh and the odd scene that made me a little emotional. I didn't go to see the film with high expectations but in the end i did enjoy it. The two leads were very impressive , so on the whole i would recommend it.

I caught this on tv the other day. Fun and light hearted for the most. I found two scenes rather moving, one came after a concert when the two people who knew remebered The Beatles came to visit Jack and the scene with John Lennon. Alive and well living quietly in a small coastal cottage. I did not recognise that it was Robert Carlise and I found that entire scene very moving.
