Will the first four Beatles CDS be remastered and replace the standard mono mixes and put the stereo mixes back?

The re-masters have been finished for a long while but for some reason they're hanging back on releasing them! It would be nice to have both the mono and stereo mixes released when the re-masters do finally get the OK!

Well, now we know the hangup is between Apple and EMI who want a piece of the pie Apple worked out with iTunes. In the meantime, they should release physical CDs as I feel the majoritiy will be the older fans who still prefer this format. Then, offer digital downloads for the younger generation of fans that prefer this format (when all the Apple/EMI bickering gets sorted out). Regards, Beatle Bob

I just hope that they do this remastering thing right. I'm hoping that they sound in the vain of Love or the Yellow Submarine Soundtrack and that they're packaged like The Monkees Deluxe Edition Remasters which included both stereo and mono mixes.
I recently read an issue of Mojo (Nov 08?) that did a small write up on some of the remasters they were allowed to hear - I believe 10 tracks from The White Album and they were raving about how amazing they sounded.
I hope they can just get it done already!
