So when I take time off from music I like to do some painting and other artsy stuff. About 15 years ago I bought a scroll saw and did a bunch of music related pieces including this Beatle creation I still keep on my shelf. The hole in the front of the stand was where I mounted a carving of the microphone the boys were singing into (unfortunately the mic got lost a couple moves ago). It actually took me a surprisingly long time to find a photo of Paul & John sharing a mic to base the piece on. Tons and tons of shots of Paul & George or John & George sharing the mic...I believe I finally found the shot I wanted from the first Shea Stadium show??? Anyway, anybody else want to share any Beatle art objects they've created?

Thanks! Great find Rocky! The image of John is a perfect match, though Paul is turned a bit more towards the camera than in my piece. I probably took a bit of artistic license and gave him more of a profile view to match John Now the big trivia question, which song from the Candlestick '66 show would John & Paul have shared a mic on? John & Paul on the same mic doesn't occur often in my collection of books/photos. If John was singing lead, Paul & George would share background vocals on a single mic...and if Paul was singing lead then John & George would share. I'm thinking it's "If I Needed Someone" since George would've been singing lead on the other single mic. The Budokan '66 clip below confirms that arrangement around the 1:00 mark. I originally thought it might also be "Paperback Writer" during the 3 part harmony intro, but the Budokan clip at 4:25 shows Paul on a single mic. It also could've been Baby's in Black as I saw John & Paul on the same mic around the 2:00 mark. I found a setlist from the Candlestick '66 show and If I Needed Someone & Baby's in Black are both on it
