Couldn't see another thread about this.
I purchased my ticket last week for the Glasgow screening next Thursday.
Anyone else going to see this around the country?

I just hope it has footage we haven't see before, such as in the Anthologies, Compleat Beatles, etc.

I'll definitely go and see this, whether it's as good as The Maysles unbelievable documentary covering The Beatles first trip to America, i have my doubts. I hope you've all seen this, the extras with commentary by the the Director Albert Maysles is unbelievable. I'll probably buy Live At The Hollywood Bowl today. Here's a bit of the commentary on this must have dvd for all Beatles fans.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbqWDrPX_2w

I hope to see the film as soon as . As for the Beatles First U.S. Visit It is a brilliant DVD Another clip from Eight Days A Week The Premier is being held today in Liverpool and here by my work in London's Leicester Square, i'll pop up have a look at the set up at lunchtime. As for the DVD of The Beatles First Trip To The USA, I came across this on Sky Arts a couple of years ago. I wondered why the following programme was the same thing again, until i realised they were showing the with commentary feature from the director. This is one of my crown jewels along with the Anthologies on Dvd. You really are re-living the history and excitement of The Beatles in those innocent and exciting times which unbelievable up close and personal footage.

I literally just did a check of the Liverpool Echo for their report. It looked fun but you can tell they really struggled to compete to get celebrities to this premier with Paul and Ringo coming to London for the premier . Ex Quarrymen , Alan Willams ...and The Christians? I could not find any mention of one of the Beatles biggest supporters Bill Harry attending, maybe his but he wasn't mentioned. To be honest, how can you compete against Paul and Ringo?

Wonder why those chose to attend the London Premiere and not the Liverpool one? I know they probably had other engagements but they still could have done Liverpool. It's seems the screening of 30 minutes earlier was some sort of sweetener for Liverpool.

I liked the part where Sir Paul wore the same jacket he wore at the premiere of 'A Hard Days Night' in 1964! Doesn't that guy throw anything away? lol Paul & Ringo at the premier of 'A Hard Days Night'.

Got my tickets for tomorrow evening! Not expecting too much I haven’t seen already, including the Shea Concert, but am looking forward to seeing how much they cleaned it up the concert in 4K. My Shea Blu Ray boot is pretty damn good, so looking for a good comparison.
