Yes ! I have a few ! Oldies. Gotta say, it's nice to see LPs making a comeback. There's nothing like holding that fine peice of art in your hands, while the music is spinning on the Phonograph! It was just never the same holding a piece of plastic CD case!!! Yeah and now you have to get out your HIGH POWERED magnifying glass just to read the liner notes!!

I have a lot of 78's from my uncles house who passed away last year. You would imagine 78's are worth a bit of money but they aren't. A true rarity mrm. A 78 Beatle record! View AttachmentThose were mostly from India, No?

People ask me what kind of music I like and I tell them, oh you know, both kinds. Bagpipes and Hula music.

So, another album I like that I'm sure the CD or mp3 didn't do justice to the nice package. Oh yeah, there's a record in there too!

Remember this one from '78 Amadeus? I had the 'Fat Bottom Girls' poster for the longest time. I wonder whatever happened to it?

It's worth remembering the thrill of buying a new record in your impressionable years. It's hard to get that feeling back after you hit a certain age ('cos the first time is always memorable), but because it's been nigh on 25 years since my regular vinyl shopping, it's been a bit of a thrill to get those few new albums over the last few years. All the same, I've upped the ante by diversifying. For some reason it's cool (to me) to own a Bagpipe record and an album of Hawiian music. And one day I just may sit down and listen to the bagpipe record, every last banshee wail of it. And I will keep looking at the jumble sales for these 50 cent curios and I also picked up a couple of these babies because even I have to worry about wow and flutter.

Nothing says 'sanitised hippie music' like a fascinating couple of fur clad vixens chained up behind bars.

That looks like a nice package. Well, I was walking down the street the other day (ah, who did I meet?) And this album appeared on the whispering breeze uttering with a plaintive cry,"take me home. take me home." So,,,, I did!

it`s 1969 . the reason I bought it was that it had the studio Magic Bus and Young Man Blues which way back then they wer`nt on any other albums . How good is that ?! Love to get hold of this on MP3 I went to see this band in 1985 and I was hooked on them and seen Maria McKee many times

Ya, it's been decades since I sold off all my records, but it was a thrill last year when I started and completed my hunt for Original UK Beatles LPs. It brought that thrill back to me too. CD's almost gave me the same thrill, but the plastic CD case always turned me off and I wondered why they just didn't make mini cardboard album covers for them in the first place. Who knows maybe they would still be as popular, but they are going the way of the do-do bird unlike the big LP comeback!

Oh yes. I have this one. Stole it from my dad. AND the 1960 calendar is good for 2016 so now I don't have to buy a calendar!
