Here's your vinyl thread Mr K. I have to admit that I'm faring rather poorly in the new vinyl world. I have only four new albums on vinyl since '08 and one of them isn't even a proper album. 100 hundred white albums playing all at once and 100 white album covers superimposed on each other. Oasis' last album, which is the '08 one. Boris' latest - 2014 And nine inch nails newest one - 2014

It was in the Music for Weirdo`s I think Pothos Yes ! I have a few ! Oldies. Here is my original Syd Barrett albums and I`m not hundred percent on the Zappa album , I got it from a Record fair around 1979 ish but I think it`s an original Import on the Venue label ( I think Amadeus may shed more light on it )

Yes'm. That's an original Mothers Of Invention LP. Speaking of Syd Barrett, I believe it was '73 that the two LPs were re-issued in one double album. This one was hard to find in '90 because everybody was modern by then and got the CD. A mid '80's GATEFOLD re-issue of Caress of Steel. One of the last albums I could just walk into any store and purchase. And the contents

A thousand USDollars is too much for a record??? Anyhow, I know some of you aren't interested so here's PiL Metal Box anyway! Incidentally, I love this album.

Here's one of mine that took me a long time to find. The famous '6 eye' stereo Bob Dylan lp. Back in the day the stereo lp was more rare than the mono version because it cost a buck more!

Ya, I really miss Columbia House Record Club. Remember you could get like 11 albums for 1 penny, then just have to buy so many to complete the membership.
Did the same with CD's much later.

Yeah I remember those too. Those Capitol Beatle Record Club albums are worth some money today.

Was that the standard issue for PIL's Metal Box. I quite like some of the stuff they did.

PiL's Metal box! Virgin would only press 60,000. Then it was re-issued in this nasty cardboard cop-out. Although it was re-released a few years ago on new vinyl. An exact replica of the original.

Going through my vinyl I found a copy of Sergeant Pepper knew my Father. Is this considered sacrilege.

Going through my vinyl I found a copy of Sergeant Pepper knew my Father. Is this considered sacrilege. Not at all. It's no worse than We're Only In It For The Money by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention!

Going through my vinyl I found a copy of Sergeant Pepper knew my Father. Is this considered sacrilege. I have two of them! At any rate, it was a charity album so an album of half baked covers can be forgiven at least for that. But The FALL and SONIC YOUTH were brilliant!!!
