Hello knowledgeable people I recently heard what it says is Take 7, but it has John's voice at the original pitch before they slowed it down: Of all the bootlegs I've heard of this, I've never heard this take with the vocal at the regular speed and pitch. So does anyone know where the audio from the above video came from? Has the uploader just sped it up/raised the pitch of the whole thing using audio editing software? Or is this legit and available on a bootleg somewhere that I've missed? Any insight is much appreciated! Love this version! Cheers

According to 'The Complete Recording Sessions' this Take 7 was done on Nov.29,1966, 5 days after Take 1 was recorded. It says John used another experimental vocal and the entire take was mixed down into Take 7, onto which his vocal was given ADT treatment and more instruments superimposed. Then Take 7 was marked 'BEST' which it was for 9 days, but not the final version of the song. I found they did 26 takes of this song before it was finished. So the video tape of the song you supplied is probably legit and on some bootleg somewhere. *btw Welcome to the Forum strawberryfeelz4eva.

Also I believe the tree seen in the Beatles video was destroyed in the Storm of 1987. Only a stump remains. 70% of the trees at Knole Park were destroyed.

Yes it was that one Rocky. Just realised that as most singles I had never started to get picture sleaves until the very late 1970's I have never seen what the intended sleeves for their singles were.

I had all the picture sleeves in a binder one time and it was thrown out by mistake by my MoM. What a loss that was!!

I don`t think anyone`s mentioned that Take 7 along with an Edit piece is on Anthology 2 ( Disc 2 ) Thought I`d mention it .

Thanks for the responses! So you think it's likely the uploader has pretty much just pitch-corrected/sped up the Take 7 from the Anthology using audio editing software? Tacked on the "1,2,3,4" from the Love album at the beginning, and cut off the Edit (drum outro)?
