A friend of mine managed to pick up a vinyl of Please Please Me from a car boot sale.
These are the details:
1963
Mono
Gold/Black label
Type 1 Sleeve
Side 1 Label: 'Dick James' credit.
Side 2 Label: 'Northern Songs' credit
Described as 'rare variant' as the front label says 1st pressing, back label says 2nd.
Very good condition (Love Me Do has some surface noise)
Dead Wax Codes:
SIDE 1: MATRIX - XEX 421 - IN MOTHER NUMBER 2 STAMPER CODE RG
SIDE 2: MATRIX - XEX 422 - IN MOTHER NUMBER - 1/2 STAMPER CODE GO
Can anyone tell me how rare this is? How much is it worth? And where would it best be sold?
He says that he doesn't want to sell it, but he is not computer savvy so I thought I would come on here and find out this information for him anyway, just in case he ever changed his mind.

I have some photos of it too, if anyone wanted to see them.
