I love how the Beatle songs from 65 on start with heavier drums, Ringo knew exactly what to do to make every song incredible. Some favorite later songs, Tommorow never knows, Come together, Get back.

For me, the biggest thrill of Ringo's playing was when he started using an open hi-hat like on She Loves You and I Want To Hold Your Hand.
The fills in A Day In The Life are to die for. The one's you mentioned are great and I've noticed that most casual drummers just don't imagine playing those songs in Ringo's ways. Get Back has that galloping beat but most just play it straight rock beat.
Yup.

Welcome Lennon66
Ringo was an incredible drummer. Mark Lewisohn, who has listened to every recorded take of every Beatles song, has stated that a take never broke down due to Ringo messing up.
Ringo was streets ahead of Pete Best too, and the argument that it was the other way around is ridiculous.
