I would like to know if this is rare or not . I have two copies of the beatles greatest hits albums numbered PCTC 260-3-1-1-1
They are in there original sleeves and are in absolute superb condition. There is no printing on either side on any lable. the only identification is the numbers on the LP. The above number was from one LP only , I have not checked the others. The album cover is odd in that it was never glued together, and is in excellent condition, just slight yellowing due to age. But this could be the natural colour I'm not sure.
So can any expert out there tell me if I have something rare.
Many thanks.

I think any test pressing is rare. The words mean 'Unchecked pattern/Not For Sale'. I think (not sure) that every factory gets their own master cutting discs? So possibly, correct me if I'm wrong anybody, these are the German test pressings before they were pressed on proper vinyl for sale. I've seen the '20 Greatest hits' but not Revolver. Is there a date on it? I rarely see these. As to worth, just put it out there and see what people offer.

Hi Amadeus, just had another look and on the inner run off it is stamped either 14 rm or 1+rm my eyes are not what they used to be.The inner sleeve says made in GB. There are no other marks dates etc, only on the album sleeve which is 1982.

So it was a finished sleeve. And...
Revolver came in a plain paper bag with the sticker on it?
I don't believe any record was kept about test pressings so it's hard to identify that sort of thing. They would just sort of disappear in the trash or in someone's closet etc......

It's a nice thing to have. Both of them.
