Just a few news items I came across that I thought were interesting. The first one is about an interview with Ringo's ex-fiance who put out a book of photos! I had never heard about her!!! What do you guys know about her? I'm hoping to find a download of the interview somewhere. Love to hear it.
She actually kind of looks a bit like Barbara.

Nancy Lee talks about Ringo's songwriting with Vini Poncia, the song she co-wrote with Ringo "Las Brisas," and the photos in her book. Also featured on the show is a set of Beatle/solo-Beatle B-sides and a live recording from Peter & Gordon.
Paul McCartney's message for the Paralympics
This week, a recorded message from Paul McCartney in support of the GB Paralympics was shown on TV in UK.
About recording the message, Paul said, "I met leading Paralympic dressage rider Sophie Christiansen and was completely blown away by her skill, dedication and the fact that she had won a gold medal for Britain, so I felt I had to do something. My suggestion was simple why not create an ad that would highlight the work of ParalympicsGB and call on the British Public to donate much needed money. It was the start of a truly amazing effort from all those involved most of whom gave their time for free."
Uh, what are Paralympics? I these people who are disabled? I guess I could look it up. Funny a billionaire asking people to donate money. I mean, I know he donated quite a bit, but it's still kind of odd.
And this is the best. I WANT THIS!!
