On a possible London excursion what places of particular Beatles relevance can you recommend to visit apart from Abbey Road. Somehow I think it unlikely that there will be a London equivalent of the Grapes Pub?

Thats why living in the south sucks :/ They occasionally have beatles convention days in london, i dont know if theyre any good though. Or some of the beatles tribute bands, such as imagine the beatles sometimes do shows in london? Dont think there are any pubs as good as in liverpool

Somehow I think it unlikely that there will be a London equivalent of the Grapes Pub? Plenty of Beatles-related sites around London town to visit but obviously no pubs with a historical importance as the Grapes or Ye Cracke etc in Liverpool. I think the best idea was as Simon said, maybe do one of the Beatle walks and then head to a pub in the evening for a good ol' Beatle Forum reunion booze-up as there are PLENTY of really good pubs around Camden way! Dont think there are any pubs as good as in liverpool I've been to one London Beatles Day - I must admit it wasn't great - the one I went to had no live bands and just a few stalls selling bootlegs and memorabilia I would say though, if you guys (and girl! )can get into town I'd try and tie in with seeing the Counterfeit Beatles - they are REALLY good and it would round off a London Beatles day perfectly! I anyone has specific dates or a weekend in mind, let me know and I'll see what's going on in town. AL

If it's before then we are realistically looking at November/ early December. Or we could look at January or February. I'm easy really. Any other ideas on dates? It would be good to tie it in with something like a good Beatles band in the night perhaps.

It's "sarf" London - i.e. the other side of the river, fairly near Greenwich.
