None, it is explained in the next sentence: " The Beatles themselves were like other men, but the music and lyrics channeled through them contained magic and messages from beyond the mind." It has nothing to do with religion or predicting the future, it is just that their music and lyrics help reveal the truth of life... even if they did not meant it. It is explained in details in that book. For you, it probably is all in the book.

It is explained in details in that book. For you, it probably is all in the book. Nope, that book just gives people a key to open their minds. As it says on page 11: "Do not believe what anyone says, including me; check things for yourself. You have to see the truth yourself in life itself to know it." It is sad how people directly label it as the usual kind of religious BS... it is quite the opposite. Anyway my point is not to convince anyone. I just wanted to tell you that you should better read it (at least the whole section about The Beatles) so you can base your own opinion on something you checked, rather than just taking it for granted. Religions perverted the sense of several words like truth, prophets etc. It doesn't mean everyone using these words are religious. Here is an interesting interview of George Harisson: Listen to the first 38 seconds and you will see that he was looking for the answers to the big questions of life, just like the description of "The Truth Contest" says we should do. Again and that will probably be my last words on this thread: CHECK IT FOR YOURSELF.

JFK was accidently killed by one of his secret service agents. I think you will find it was deliberate rather than accidental. Oswald was never in the book depository. The man on the road with the umbrella was signalling. It was a hot, sunny day. Why would you need to open and close your umbrella at a random moment?

So wait a minute!; Do you mean to imply that when the crew of RED DWARF got that time travel thingy and they landed in the book depository and knocked Oswald out of the window accidentally,,,,none of that is real?

I have seen these comments about The Truth Contest and The Beatles as Prophets all over my Youtube uploads! What is the deal with these people? They are relentlessly persistent, seems there are new comments every day. I thought it was just spam, but I guess it isn't, and seeing this thread, I'll have to take a look! I've always thought there was a special "magic" to The Beatles but calling them prophets makes me a bit skeptical. Anyway, I'll read it today. Is this the link? www.truthcontest.com/entries/the-present-with-religion/beatles-prophets.html

These are probably mostly either people whose lives are so bereft of self-contentment that they themselves become self-appointed gurus of truth and enlightenment or just plain have too much time on their hands. The former was the case with Charlie Manson. The latter is the case with those who need some sort of constructive hobby, such as the one so generously provided by this very site.

They ARE prophets but not very reliable. They said "I'll get you. I'll get you in the end". They haven't gotten me yet!

I was suprised to find out it actually makes sense. This is the link to the section about The Beatles, but there is more to read in this amazing website. Here is all the content linked in 1 page: www.truthcontest.com/the-present

Yeah, the internet is currently mostly used for porn and commercial activities... but it could change if each one of us change ourselves in the first place. The Beatles will help us to change As they said in I'll get you: "There is gonna be a time when I'm gonna change your mind." The Internet will end up imploding in on itself or result in lock down. Did you read in the news a few weeks ago that the Russian government have purchased loads of manual typewriters in order to go back to typing classified documents rather than type them on a PC. I think it's important that The Beatles should not be taken out of context and held up as some truth, the light and the way. The lyrics to I'll Get You refer to a girl the boy wants but hasn't got yet. Don't read any more than that into them and use their lyrics as a way to change society as we know it. That's just plain wrong. Then why do they say "my friend" in same song? Do you say "friend" to the girl you love? Think about it twice, and they'll eventually change your mind. Here is a small quote from the book I'm talking about: "In the song "Julia", John Lennon says, "Half of what I say is meaningless, but I say it just to reach you." This clearly means that half of what they say is meaningful, and the rest is just there to reach us." Again, I suggest to everyone to read at least the whole chapter about The Bealtes: www.truthcontest.com/entries/the-present-universal-truth/beatles.htmlWatch the interview of George Harrison I linked, and listen to the songs "Gimme some truth" or "Instant Karma" from John Lennon, and you will see what they were really talking about. They literally spoke the truth in some songs/interview + clearly said in interview their songs contained subliminal message --> you have to admit it is possible there is actually a hidden message in their songs.
