In the book You can't do that - Beatles bootlegs & novelty records by Charles Reinhart (Chicago 1981) you can read pages 368-370. 26 clues Klaatu = Beatles and 2 clues Klaatu isn't Beatles.

As far as Klaatu are concerned, the only track that sounds exactly like something a Beatles was involved in was "Sub Rosa Subway". If that's not a Wings parody I don't know what it.

Believe it or not they started out in 1973 and I remember them well. I think I still have a couple of their lp's lying around somewhere. In about 1978 all the hullabaloo about them being the Beatles began adding to the fact that they never put any name credits on any of their recordings just Klaatu.
