I do hope there are no wannabe percussionists in the audience this year while the bands are playing! I thought it was an absolute disgrace that people had the audacity to play loud percussion instruments during shows and ruin it for others!

I hope so too! I was in the Cavern in december one night, and said percussion band were there in the audience! So its not just at BW events.

Doesn't bother me as long as it's not through every single song - it all adds to the party atmosphere in my opinion

Have to admit i wouldnt like this and if i hear it going on i am going to have a polite word. God knows i've paid enough to get there and for the tickets !

It's normally at events where everyone is singing, dancing and treating the gig like a huge party - I can't see how it can be seen as detrimental if it's in the spirit of the occasion.
