Hello Forum--- The RR's have been restored by Youtube. Apparently a change in format was the cause pf prev problems described above. I have removed Help as I am am not that happy with it. I will get another better version up at some point.
Update--- another RR has been discovered. I have always had a difficult time with Tell Me Why. Last night i made an RR of the track by moving the input balance( during recording) to the 9 O' clock position and voila-- problem solved. From what i can tell the original recording was made with Bal in the WRONG position-- it is weighted at 75% on the side of Ringo's drums and Paul's bass( which are almost always on the same side). An RR of this track will be posted when Help is also fixed.
One can realise the the improvement simply by tilting the output Bal to the above described position when playing the track.
This may not make much difference to mono fans....

RR news--- I have recently discovered another gaff. It is on Come together(CD) @ 2:22. There is a sudden increase in vol at that point. Someone moves something.

OK-- it's a minor gaff compared to the other RR's.
BTW I have discovered that the Searchers classic Love Potion #9 is also flawed.
The CD has a mid 8 that is way too high & the 45 has a major gaff at about :25-- and the mid 8 is heavy as well although not as bad as the CD

I think some arrest warrants need to be issued for the perpetrators of these heinous deeds!

OK wise guys-- I have(as promised near the start of this topic) sent 2 letters to Gilles Martin at EMI about the RR's. If anyone has checked lately my Youtube channel has been censored. Only a few tracks remain and they can only be heard in US. I removed 4 or 5 that said 'Muted For Copyright Violation'.
I am in possession of the Master tap---- which is of such highest quality that it could be used, as is, for a re-issue.
The RR's ARE BETTER THAN ANY OTHER MIXES. Too bad for those who didn't download them.

Roscoe, do me a favour and make a Rubber Soul "stereo" mix with the vocals centred. I will forever be in your gratitude and call you a god!

Hello again Forum--- here is the latest on the RR's. I had not looked in a while but some of the tracks have been restored by You Tube and can be heard by going to the RR channel or possibly by searching Roscoe Remasters.
They are
Something
You Never Give Me Your Money
Rascal's Groovin'
Martha
This Boy
There is an gaff in the way Martha has been uploaded and the time is listed as 5:09. One will find a second version of This Boy has somehow been uploaded b4 Martha and there is a short gaff b4 Martha begins but it is all there.
Thankfully Baby It's You & Mr Mustard/ Poly Pam are not there as they need to be re-worked.
There are also 2 new discoveries.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps-- someone can clearly be heard at :55 playing with the Vol level. Also it should be faded out b4 Clapton's solo which is somewhat out of tune. I have just ordered the '09 RM and suspect to hear the same flaw as in the prev '87 CD.
Come Together-- For some reason I hadn't listened to this for a while but it does have loud & soft places where it can be improved.
I will try and upload the new versions when they are done.
Ciao

Searching for the tracks on You Tube by name may prove difficult but a search for the RR Channel will bring them up. R

It has varispeed on it. This was the intended sound because Clapton wanted it to sound more 'Beatley'. It's an incredible solo given when it was recorded and set an entire genre of blues rock guitar. Let's just delete it because it's a bit wobbly! Lord knows what you would do with a Robert Johnson recording!! Also 'loud and soft' is otherwise known as dynamics. That, again, is intended. This is my problem with your 'remasters'. You are not in fact improving audio quality, you are desecrating art. Happy Crimble x

However Everybody is entitled to their hobbies. Roscoe's is fiddling with sounds. He hasn't hurt anybody. At least I haven't been seriously injured yet by one of his remasters.
We're also entitled to our opinions. Roscoe's is that the Beatles masters could be improved. Yours is that that is rubbish.
Half a nation thought it would be a good idea to have Donald Trump as a president. Roscoe's remasters are small potatoes in comparison.
He seems to enjoy it and the world needs more happy people in it.
I like that 100 white albums playing that you sent me. I actually like listening to it. Others think I'm weird and it's best just to humour me.
Whatever. It IS a party.
I'm just having a Glenlivet right now. I'm pretty mellow......

I love Glenlivet!
Anyway, I have to disagree. I get the improving fidelity hobby aspect. I'm fine with that. However it's way beyond that. I really believe a piece of recorded music is the same as a piece of artwork. Would it be right to start adding a bit of burnt umber to the Mona Lisa just because you felt it needed it? No it wouldn't. The same logic applies to music. It's not Roscoes creation to manipulate in that manner i.e. removing actual passages of written or played music.
Sure, adjust the EQ, balance etc of whatever is coming out of your stereo system. Do whatever in the privacy of your own home but the moment you start to push it out to the public on YouTube etc for mass consumption and basically saying 'this is how I think the song should have been written' then I have every right to criticise it as much as you feel Roscoe has the right to publish his 'remasters'.
