So what did we think of the new all nighter venue? Im unsure, I love the fact its in he Adelphi - really handy as most people are used to going back there after the shows anyway, and is much more comfortable than the Cavern. Im not sure about the basement rooms. The big main one looked like a wedding reception - big giant tables and no room to mingle, and the other room had a tiny dance floor. If it only had an area between the two where people could chat - instead of falling over people sitting on the floor in the hallways. What do we think?

Agree with you there. I think the basement rooms weren't really suitable for the all nighter bands. Just seemed so cramped with the narrow corridors connecting everything. Wonder why we were put there do you think they wanted to shield the rest of the Hotel from the band's music late at night?

Could be! The venue could actually be really good, they need to remove about half of the big giant tables in the big room, to give more room for dancing. A few tables and scattered seats would have done.

I think it was great!! I loved the space and the atmosphere. I think they should have sold food though. I mean just someone selling cheap sandwiches and crisps would have been brilliant with a cold pint at 2am!

For the first All-nighter i thought it was ok. A little confused with which bands were playing where - which is no suprise really when even the all nighter itself was advertised as being on Satrday night in the programme!
To be fair this is the only place you can hold it i think due to noise levels, etc. I do agree though that there should be food on demand and maybe tea or coffee next time - we dont all want beer at 3am.
Over all i enjoyed especially as "George Harrison" was on my table!!!
