Over the last few days, while living in the shadow of the ash cloud I've been wondreing that if this flight disruption keeps up, it will have a severe effect on people attending International Beatle Week this year, not to mention the bands attending.
Ok, so it may all 'blow over' by then - I hope so, but today I've heard on the news two things that I think are cause for concern:
1. There is a volcano next to the one currently erupting that may also erupt.
2. Even if it were to become dorment tomorrow, it would be at least 3 months before it would be confirmed as being dorment.
Wether you think it's safe to fly or not, if the powers that be say no, the UK and Western Europe will once again be closed for business in the coming months.

This whole thing smells of conspiracy big time. There are a lot of oddities about this 'volcano'. Of course any major incident will always bring out the conspiracy theorists but one of these days there will be definitive evidence of a cover up following an incident like this. This is an awful lot of air space to close down. I don't remember (although I will stand corrected) a time when airspace was closed for so long following a volcano and yet there have been lots of Volcanos in recent history and much worse than this. This website is food for thought www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message1042882/pg1
