I hope I'm not posting this too late.
If you have been before you will know how hectic the IBW schedule can be and it's difficult to get to see all the bands you want to see as it is, without any extras on top.
However, if you do have a bit of spare time, you may like to consider some of the following:
A tribute to the incomparable George Harrison MBE
Venue/Location: St. George's Hall, Lime Street
Date: Until 10th August 2009. 10am-5pm

Information: The largest collection of George memorabilia on view in the world
St. Georges Hall is stunning and worth a visit in it's own right, at the moment the Royal Minton Floor is on display.

The Beat Goes On
Venue/Location: Liverpool World Museum, William Brown Street (at the side of St. George's Hall)
Date: Until 1st November 2009. 10am-5pm
Admission: Free
Information: From The Beatles to The Zutons, the story of Liverpool bands and it's music makers. Features jackets worn by both John Lennon and Pete Best as well as original Beatles autographs ans the stage from the Parish Church, Woolton where John and Paul met. Well worth a visit, showcases Liverpool bands and clubs beyon The Beatles.

White Feather - The Spirit Of Lennon

Information: Exhibition tells the intemate personal story of the life of the Lennon family; for the first time presented as an exclusive exhibition. It gives a unique insight into the life with John Lennon that only Julianand Cynthia can give. It was opene recently by Julian and Cynthia.

Information: A state-of-the-art experience for all the family. This amazing experience takes you on a groovy trip through the Beatles' music. You'll meet all manner of characters as the magic of 4-D brings the music of The Beatles to life.

Even if you don't visit the two exhibitions listed above, it's worth a trip to the Beatle Souvenir Shop at the new Mersey Ferry Terminal even if just to browse, which is of course free! The new canal link there too looks great.
