Did you see this? news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090808/ap_on_en_mu/eu_britain_beatles_anniversary_4Regarding the "Paul is Dead" hoax: The license plate read "28IF." In other words, Paul would have been 28 if he had not died. That was a tipoff that the rumor was a hoax. Since it was 1969 and Paul was born in 1942, 27 would have been the correct number. Those hoax perpetrators were not very good at math. Another "clue" was the skull on the back cover of the album, which was actually just a shade formation on a wall.

Oh yeah, some more: John was supposed to be some sort of holy man, dressed in all white, ready to deliver the eulogy. Ringo was the undertaker. Paul was the deceased, being barefoot, and George was the gravedigger.

George's rabbit hand on MMT is almost raised above Paul the Hippo - Paul is Dead! The Walrus is a symbol of death in Scandinavia - Paul must be dead! All completely true clues!

Pah ! I have sillier ones than them ! The tennis balls on the back of Abbey Rd ..Well join them together and youn get 3 , so that must mean Macca`s dead ! The girl on the back is apparently someone Macca gave a lifft to (and didn`t charge )the day he died and her name was Rita! and she`s running to get help after the crash (no mobiles in them days younger Beatle people ) And the silliest of the lot . The writing on the wall if it`s split into sections it says BE AT LES ABBEY In numerology the following two letters in the 18th and 15th letters in the alphabet . By adding this together 33 and multiplying by the numbers of letters 2 you get 66 the year that Macca had died Simple These are not made up , honest !

Have you heard the one about if you play the song Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band backwards it sounds uncannily like Paul has been dead for ages honestly.

Regarding 28IF, some cultures tack on an extra year to the age to account for the time spent in the womb. So Paul would have been 28IF...

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iain_Macmillan) The album was released on my birthday too! 26th September - except it was in '69, and I didn't arrive until '83!

I always thought that for a dead bloke he had a pretty good post Beatle solo career. Besides, Ringo is dead... if he ever comes back to Liverpool

Here's another clue for you all:
(well, actually more than another...)
"I buried Paul," at the end of "Strawberry Fields Forever." I think John is really saying "cranberry sauce." I always thought it was "I'm very bored." About 20 years ago, I put this on tape, put in a recorder with variable speed playback, and it certainly sounded like "I buried Paul."
"You were in a car crash, and you lost your hair," from Ringo's "Don't Pass Me By" on the white album.
Same album--"number nine" played backward is "turn me on, dead man." I've actually had access to equipment that could play this backward. To my American ears it sounds like "ehn me on, deadmun."
Of course, I never believed any of it. I know a hoax when I see one.

Actually it says "Turn Me On DESMOND!" Desmond being his secret transvestite lover, as we all know. And if you play Wild Honey Pie backward it sounds like "up your nose" implying Paul died of a cocaine overdose The plot, like a winter stew, thickens.
