You will indeed see me there as I'm staying in The Adelphi Friday night, so no excuses for not being out late! Hope the ferry gig goes well, I did that one year and it was a bit choppy!

It would be nice to see some of you at our gigs in this years festival. I'll be there for as many as your gigs as I can, in your biography in the programme it states: "The band strive to maintain the authenticity of the magnificent harmonies, performing the songs in their original keys"With a comment like that Cellophane Flowers are another on my list of "must sees" And I'm looking forward to you starting the live music at 12pm in The Cavern Club (Front) on Saturday 29th.

"Revolver" are on my list of "must sees" Are you playing the late party nights at The Adelphi on the Friday and Saturday? That is my fave part of the whole week. Of all the years (the last 5) I've been to International Beatleweek/Mathew Street festival, I've never been to an 'all nighter" ala Prellies at The Cavern Club nor a party night at the Adelphi. Truth is I'm usually so pissed my midnight that the comfort of a warm bed and a good kip seems reassuring! Just a quick question though. I know that if you haven't booked in for IBW and thus haven't got the wristbands to get you into the majority of places that there's a cover charge to get into The Adelphi on Sunday and a small cover charge (£2?) to get into The Cavern Club at any time. Is there also a cover charge to get into The Adelphi other than Sunday - like the party nights on Friday and Saturday? Cheers.

charge to get into The Adelphi on Sunday It's £15 for the convention day at The Adelphi (Sunday). I would question whether it's worth it when there are free outdoor stages with Beatle and other cover bands in the city centre as the Mathew Street Festival begins, but I guess it depends what you want to see / be part of. and a small cover charge (£2?) to get into The Cavern Club at any time. Not so small this year... £5 every time you come and go. Disgraceful in my opinion as for the other 51 weeks of the year it's free or just a £1 admission on some days, like a Thursday night when The Mersey Beatles play in Room 1. Different charges apply for Room Two for ticketed bands during the rest of the year. Is there also a cover charge to get into The Adelphi other than Sunday - like the party nights on Friday and Saturday? Yes. £15 each for the Friday and Saturday Adelphi Party nights. Advance purchases only, it's not possible to pay on the door as the place would be overcrowed and they have to satisfy fire regulations, etc.

Thanks Nowhere Man for Saturday's listings a great help. No problem, my pleasure Do you know if you have to pay to get in for Hard Days Hotel gigs As far as I know it's free. You will need to go into the basement, into the large function room, The Zygmund Suite for the artists/bands. Access is usually via the entrance on North John Street, but last year (the hotel's first IBW) they let you in via the fire exit opposite The Cavern Pub/Lennon statue. Be aware though that it gets busy (all of Mathew Street will be) and they keep numbers quite low, for overcrowding reasons, so be early if you can. and also can you pay on the day for convention at Adelphi I'm not sure about on the day, but I think tickets will be available from Wednesday at The Adelphi from the staff at the Cavern City Tours table in the lobby. does it say anything about who guest speakers are? Watch this space, I'll publish this info asap. I agree £5 a bit steep at this time for Cavern we had better bring a bit of dosh I wish I had the option to bring more dosh! thanks again for all your help. No problem, it makes all the difference to recieve a thanks
