Hi Al No, no news apart from what's on the Cavern website (www.cavernclub.org), Beatleweek 09 section. I asked Billy (Heckle) a few weeks ago if there will be a new inductee into the Hall of Fame, and there probably will be. No idea who that's going to be, though. Wilf

I know for certain Fab Faux are not playing again. Which is a shame as they are my favourite all time Beatleweek band (with Mojo Filter and Ringer a very close second). I know they are not that popular here on the forum which I have never really understood. Can anyone explain why they don't like FabFaux that much?

The Mersey Beatles will be performing over the week, showcasing their new John Lennon, Marck Bloor following Jay Murry's leaving after the new year, Jay will no doubt be presenting his own One Man Lennon show at the Cavern Pub over the weeks festivities.
As for my band 'Cavern' hopefully we will be doing an indoor gig this year at the dock, it was a bit nippy and choppy out on that floating stage last year so we have asked for an inside gig!! with heaters!!

G-Pluck will not be back definitely... how bad hi everyone, many thanks to you who supported us on the last year's Beatleweek. It was a great pleasure. Right now, we think we have to prepare or the best next year. And together with Beatleweek, we also would like to tour over Europe, where there has a close connection to the history of the band. Cities like Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Paris are what we have in mind. Do you guys, and of course our best mate Alan, can give us suggestions whether to play gigs in those cities and where, which pub, and everything... we'd think it would be fantastic if, -aside from getting better and sufficient fundings- G-Pluck Beatles could give concerts to the people of Europe, and then finish them by the Beatleweek in Liverpool. So, we open any suggestions any hint's tips and tricks, any people we can make contact with, to make this happen. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, From Indonesia with love Bowie -on behalf of G-Pluck Beatles Band.

Hi Bowie! Great to hear from you, albeit with sad news. Really sorry we wont be seeing you guys again this year, especially as I heard nothing but glowing reviews from everyone about the band! I'll put my thinking cap on and try to come up with some suggestions about prospective gig venues for you. Say hi to the guys for me! Speak soon! All the best AL

Hi, This year is our first time playing in Liverpool. We're from Dundee, Scotland (and good friends with Ringer & Tripper). Our first show is on Friday with Ringer on the Ferry. we're playng 9 times over the weekend, so it'd be great if some of you can make it to one of them. We're performing the whole Revolver album in the Adelphi on the Sunday too. Check us out here: www.myspace.com/revolverdundeeThanks! See you in Liverpool! Ross - Revolver

Cool - really looking forward to seeing you guys play! And what a great gesture to offer the use of your megaphone to Nube 9 - it's what Beatle Week is all about
