I think Bruce Springsteen is one of the most overrated artist in the history of rock & roll. I know he's known as a great live performer, but Paul McCartney could wipe him off the stage anytime. Born To Run is so overrated as one of the best classic rock albums, it's sick, when the White Album, Sticky Fingers, Paranoid & Back In Black are a whole lot better. My one favorite album from the Boss is his live album 1975-1985 along with Rosalita & a few others. BS gets way too much praise as an artist & he wasn't the future of rock & roll.

Yeah... for me, Springsteen's an obviously talented and skillful guy, but his music's just not my sort of thing. Too melodramatic for my taste. But The River is a fine album for the most part.

I never understood Springsteen's appeal, but then again I think Van Der Graaf Generator should have been huge stars like Genesis!
He's all right, but I don't care for his music.
