I think i'll have to go this. I've just ordered the deluxe package and the vinyl of Sgt Pepper, and i think i'll probably have to go this on the actual anniversary of the release of Sgt Pepper .http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2017/it-was-fifty-years-ago-today/ are any of you guys or girls going?http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2017/it-was-fifty-years-ago-today/ www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2017/it-was-fifty-years-ago-today/

I`ve never seen them Good grief, you don't know what you are missing, their attention to the tiniest detail is unsurpassed. If you have a chance to see them you have to go . Forgive me if i've already said this before , but the first time i saw them was at The Albert Hall, Neil Innes was in the audience and the band struck up some banter with him in the humorous style of The Beatles , disparaging his band The Rutles. Musically they are fantastic , you get to hear live the stuff the Beatles never played live, the difficult stuff too, and this time with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra with them , a splendid time is guaranteed for all. Where do you live Kite, if it's London try and get to the Albert hall . I'm waiting on my brother to get back to me on whether he's free, i'll know in a day or two. I'm so hyped about this 50th Anniversary that i'm contemplating taking the 1st of June off to go and visit Abbey Road on the day as i expect tv crews to be outside on this historic day, i only live a few stops from the studio.

And it's now confirmed, my brother managed to get a pair of tickets for £53.50 each in the Stalls Block L , Not as near as i wanted but actually the further away we are the more convinced i'll be that i'm actually watching The Beatles. I've also got next Thursday off, in the morning i'll make a pilgrimage to Abbey Rd for a short while. As the great musical philosophers of our time , The Pointer Sisters sung, I'm so excited, and i just can't hide, i'm about to lose control and i think i like it.

As the great musical philosophers of our time , The Pointer Sisters sung, I'm so excited, and i just can't hide, i'm about to lose control and i think i like it. Well my brother and i had a wonderful time , it was the hottest day of the year , we went early and a bite to eat and we saw a couple arrive, the man was wearing his Sgt Pepper outfit, then had a stroll through Kensington Gardens watching people out with their big dogs . We arrived in good time and had lots of lovely chats with lovely Beatles fans , quite a few were in Pepper outfits even one lady who was sporting a Beatles wig and moustache. I met a lady who saw the actual Beatles live years ago . We had a great view in comfortable seats and the people next to us were lovely . I have to say the highlight for me was the last song from Sgt Pepper, A day in the life, as the orchestra was reaching the crescendo, the lights dimmed and the four bootlegs disappeared from view , then the orchestra played that final chord, the lights came on and the four Bootleg Beatles were standing together as the actual Beatles did for the Sgt Pepper cover , i welled up at this point as did the people next to us , it was so moving . The encore was fabulous , Strawberry Fields Penny Lane and a wonderful , I am The Walrus. The final encore was All you need is love. It was the most perfect end to a wonderful day. My mate wants me to go to see the Upbeat Beatles tomorrow at the Leicester square theatre so may well go along to this too.

They played Liverpool on Wednesday, Thursday The Albert Hall but are back in Liverpool tonight. When you saw the Beatles play live on the roof of Saville Row, they seemed to be loving it, if only one of them persuaded the others , come on guys lets put on some concerts. Backed by the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra The Bootlegs showed you could more or less recreate their studio sound. Times had moved on , the screams wouldn't be there like the early days and their fans were not just girls but boys as they grew more mature, the fans would come to listen and worship. They should have been top of the bill at Woodstock , they'd have kicked everyone's ass. I bet when they saw footage of Woodstock they musty have thought , why are we not up there. Yes maybe they hated touring but why do you think the Stones still tour , staying in hotels and travelling may be crap but playing live makes them young again.

I'm off to see The Upbeat Beatles in Leicester square tomorrow night, i could easily give it a miss but my mate asked me to go, it'll be fun but can't match the Bootlegs experience from the other night.
