I was just thinking about the other non Beatles projects that they become involved in. Thigs that came to mind were.
Paul producing Those were the days for Mary Hopkins.
John working with Bowie on Fame.
George's string of movies on Handmade films.
Ringo acting in That'll Be the Day.
Can you think of others I have missed that were just amazing. (non band releated such as Wings) that I have missed.

The Fireman is the moniker given to electronic music experiments created by Paul McCartney and Youth (Martin Glover). In 1993, the duo of McCartney and Youth released its first album, Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest, and followed that with Rushes in 1998

In 1965, Paul McCartney wrote a song named "Woman" and decided to give it to Peter & Gordon. For that purpose, he used the pseudonym Bernard Webb, to see if the song could be a hit without the Lennon-McCartney mark on it.

Here's a rare little ditty that Paul wrote in Dec. 1968 while on vacation with just Linda and step-daughter Heather. One night in a bar in a Portuguese hotel named Penina.
and later in 1969 released as a single by Carlos Mendes

On this Dave Mason song, formally of the group Traffic, from 1973 featuring 'Son of Harry' it is obvious it's George playing guitar.

Paul produced Bonzo's Urban Spaceman under the name of Apollo C Vermouth. And as far as I know Macca plays Ukulele on the song .

Some really interesting projects. Is it true that Macca saw Mary Hopkins on Oportunity Knocks or is that an Urban Myth.

I'm just old enough to remember Mary on Opportunity Knocks . It was a huge show and us oldies will remember 3 channels , so you couldn't miss Miss Hopkin was on T.V. every week . So I can imagine that Macca saw her on the telly . And at that time the Fabs were looking for new artists for there new label . I'd say it's true .

I always knew that there was a heavy connection between Ringo and Marc Bolan. Did Marc / T.Rex ever break through in the US. T.Rex had the Bowie connection as well due to Toni Visconti producing them as well.

It will be 46 years ago (1977) next Saturday 16th that Marc died in an automobile accident when the car driven by Gloria Jones went off road and struck a tree. He was only 29, two weeks shy of his 30th birthday. R I P Marc. *The tree in the background is the one that killed Marc.
