Hi Forum-- Some will remember my remixes(masters) of several Beatles tracks and the discussion-- Roscoe Remasters . The most prominent is probably This Boy where I have corrected the gaff described by Geoff Emerick in his book. This is one of the few tracks of mine that YTube left up on my RR Channel.
I have since discovered a few other gaffs that have to do with balance position. The following tracks seem to be recorded w/ the input Bal knob out of position.
Tell Me Why If I Fell Ill Cry Instead Any Time At All It Wont Be Long Thank You Girl
Fortunately they are all out of Bal on the same side. Try giving less emphasis to the side that Paul & Ringo are on( which is almost always the same on all Beatle records). One will discover an instrument on the other side. Each track will probably need a slight adjustment & headphones are recommended for full effect.
Does not apply to Mono

Hi Forum-- I discovered last night that I Call Your Name is out of Bal as well. If listening in stereo w/ headphone subtract a couple db from the Paul/ Ringo side & it will bring out other side... Btw-- sorry but George guitar solo on this track is WAY OUT OF TUNE... I fade this one out b4 the solo using my Sony CDP-497 Ciao

When it rains it pours-- last night I discovered the same gaff in Hey Jude. If one subtracts about 3db from the bass side, new sounds can be heard on opposite side w/o losing any bass and vocal will be in the middle as intended. This is in addition to my prev remix( which is a better term for how I altered the RR's)of the song. r
