What's 81 days among friends. Also there's an edited down version of the song that was released on Tusk when it went to CD in 1987. I could have popped this one up.

The Cure As a point of interest for classic rock fans, the guy second from right joined Page and Plant's band for that 'No Quarter' album. And he's in the video for it.

Skinny Puppy. A Canadian treasure. Industrial music pioneers.

Skinny Puppy are often mentioned by US songwriter as an influence. Never knew that one of the Cure ended up with Page and Plant although I do recall Robert Smith joining Siouxie and the Banshees at very short notice after two members left and Robert knowing the set as he had watched the band as he was the support act.

I actually liked her voice. I love I drove all night and both hers and Roy Orbison's versions are just wonderful. Always loved the pop stuff Pat Benatar did as well.

At the end of the 80's was probably the beginning of the greatest band of the 90's.

Did anyone see the BBC 4 doc on Culture Club last night. It was about the recording of their 2014 sessions and was fascinating. Got a shock seeing Roy Hay's daughter Sunny who I remember being born and Roy is now a Grandad!!!!

The Joy Division/New Order stuff still looks futuristic even today. The early Simple minds must be rare. That is a rather wonderful collection.

Always thought that The Mission were an underrated act. I don't mind the Mission but I never liked Sisters Of Mercy. Here's some more '80's nostalgia from my living room. Including the 1987 Prince album, while everybody is on the subject. A bit more.... A little bit more.... I love my vinyl. I've had it all for a long time and I'm re-loving it all. Share in my joy. (assholes)
