Sadly I've become very deaf in my left ear a hearing aid takes care of everyday things but it's annoying to listen to my old I-pod and find familiar bits of songs have disappeared etc,.
My device doesn't have a Mono setting so I wondered if paralleling the stereo channel output to the earphones giving me fold-over Mono would this somehow damage the I-pods output stages?
Someone said there is a setting on I-Tunes that I could use but this would mean loading the whole Beatles catalog again? Anyone else gone a bit mutt and Jeff? how did you cope.
I thank you in advance,

Is it an iPod? The iPod classic? Check this out. It should work for any device. It's just a stereo to mono adapter for those who are duff and debb. But be sure to practice Davy. discussions.apple.com/thread/2611001

Not sure about the old iPods though!
P.S. You know the old sayin'. Deaf in one ear and can't hear a fuck out of the other!
