Aren't those songs listed out of copyright now? I noticed when the 'Love me do' 50 years copyright was up all kinds of Tat started popping up in the record shops and on Ebay. Personally a pink heart shaped vinyl version of 'Love Me Do'/ 'Ps I Love You' is not something I'd want to buy
Speaking of, I still keep looking at the new mono LP's to consider buying them, but seeing that I have the complete Originals, I keep asking myself what's the point?
I know my set will only keep going up in value, while these sets will just keep getting cheaper to buy. There is a mono set for bidding right now for $250 US on Ebay that I should just keep away from!!!
HELP! I need somebody, not just anybody. audiophiles preferred. is the new box set really so superior to the original mono releases that I should shell out $350, when I already own the original Capitol and Parlophone release, or can only werewolves tell the difference? my entire hi-fi gear is worth about $1,500, so we are not talking tube amps and high-end turntables. won't you please help me?
After the box releases of a few years back, I decided it was enough with buying the same over and over and over again. The improvements, if there are any at all, are usually just minor ones in my humble opinion.
