Hi everyone, I'm trying to trace whoever took this photo! A friend of mine (now deceased) is the man on the right, holding a drum. In most of the copies of this photo he has been cut out completely (except for his legs and drum!), but in this one there is some of his face visible. This led me to think there might even be more of the original image that would show my friend (Ken) in the photo, and also that if I could trace the photographer, there might be even more photos from different angles that weren't published. Someone pointed out it was taken at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, London on 24 August 1967 when the Beatles met the Maharishi. Have any of you ever seen other angles of this photo? Or would anyone know who the photographer was, or which newspapers might have the originals? Any help would be very much appreciated as I'm trying to track the photo down for the family, and it would go down a treat. Thanks in advance for any help! (or for just reading!) Hi iqm and welcome to the forum. I'm not really into photography so this may be a pointless clue. After an internet search I found another photo from the same meeting on the New York Times website. www.nytimes.com/2008/02/07/arts/music/07yogi.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0It states Hulton Archive/Getty pictures on the photo. This may be just the in-house New York Times department or such like. Anyway, just thought it was worth mentioning. I am sure you will find out on here off someone.

In case anyone was wondering, Ringo was with his wife Maureen at the hospital having their second son, Jason.

Hi iqm. I'm sure you've done a lot of trawling the interweb. I've dug into the photograph a little bit more and have discovered that the photograph, in all probability was snapped by Philip Townsend. See the following extract from the Google pages and you may want to visit the web site quoted. Hope this helps.
