I read an interesting thought the other day: Is the Paul McCartney we know now the 'real' one? Yes. Paul's output up to '66 was very limited. In the 50 years since then the 'fake' McCartney has become the real one. He's the guy that shone from Revolver on right up until NEW a couple of years ago, not the Paul in the beginning. Interesting. I don't believe any of it the conspiracy at all. But of course,,,, the evidence is pretty compelling...... I was going to ask you why you thought this photo was relevant to the Paul is Dead story. However upon a second glance I realise that it is an irrelevant question. It's a photo that does not need an excuse in any context. Pure art.

Could it be Jane Asher has the real Paul held hostage in her basement?

The "Paul is dead" theory has a logical flaw at the centre. On the one hand the remaining Beatles [plus everyone else who knew Paul] want to keep the fact that he is dead and replaced, a secret. Yet they insert clues into album covers.

Yet they insert clues into album covers. I've read the explanation of that paradox is that the remaining Beatles were pressured by record label executives, accountants, attorneys, etc (basically anyone important riding the Beatle gravy train) into silence for fear the bands popularity (and revenue producing machine) would end if Paul's death was made public. That said, the remaining Beatles tried to "leak" the story to the fans through album cover and musical "clues". I love the whole Paul is Dead mystery (2 of my favorite Beatle books are "The Walrus Was Paul" and "Turn Me On Dead Man") and used to spend hours as a teenager pouring over all the album covers looking for clues. I also recall watching the TV "Paul is Dead" special with attorney F Lee Bailey presenting the case in a mock court room trial. Great stuff!

I find it very sad that people spend all their valuable time on this planet to go about on things that don`t exist or are just completely utter nonsense . I watched a program awhile back about this fella who spent about 30 years of his life trying to prove that The Loch Ness Monster existed
Why do people have this thing that they need to believe in nonsense
I watched about 3 minutes of that film Paul`s son .. That was it . I`m even a bit ashamed I`ve actually posted a post on here

One thing about the Paul thing I would say, is that Denny Laine must have known Paul when he was in the Moody Blues, and if any of this was true, surely he would have let 'the cat out of the bag' when Wings split up in 1980.

There are still people who believe that the Earth is flat. All the mass of evidence to the contrary is dismissed as an elaborate deception by governments and scientists. People are strange, indeed.

Really, a secret like that could never be kept this long. Maybe for a couple of years during the Beatles tenure but it would definitely have come out after the split.
No amount of government/Record company execs/McDonald's efforts to keep it secret would work because there's always any number of people with access to proof that would come forward.
Eh, whatever.

Actually Paul had a sex change and the Beatles had to find a replacement for him.
