I don't think any of you realise how deep this goes once you reach TKIN!.
Read that, Nothing is Real, and Rotten Apple Forums.
Goes VERY weird there.

Something I haven't seen mentioned is the one about the cover of the Magical Mystery Tour album whereby the number of big stars that make up The Beatles reveals a phone number. Allegedly a couple of American students cracked the code and phoned the number. They got through to a mysterious person who asked them to go and meet them. They did and where never seen again. There has also been some voice recognition done on Paul's voice taking a song from pre 1966 and one post(think it was Yesterday and Hey Jude). Guess what? the voice prints don't match.
Hey The End, I am surprised you have never heard of Joel Glazier, ( I am referring to my post a week or so ago on the experts forum). He gave lectures on this subject all over the world

and you believe those fantasy creepy stories based on nothing? come on be rational No I don't. I am just merely adding to the list of 'clues' already on this thread. It's not true but you can't say it's not an interesting story.

He gave lectures on this subject all over the world I love this stuff!!! Regarding Joel Glazier - nope, I hadn't heard of him I was responding to your query last week about Joel Glazier, but I lost my internet connection and it didn't post!! Anyway, I did a quick bit of research and it appears he now mainly writes articles for Jewish websites and publications - I assume this is the same guy, as some of his articles are Beatle-related. So, is Joel a believer on non-believer? As I've said before, I'm a firm non-believer but am nonetheless fascinated by all the clues and urban myths!

Thanks for that The End.
There is a fairly good account of the story from first hand memories in Ron Schaumbergs Growing Up With The Beatles. Even though I too am a non-believer I get very drawn into it and makes me feel a bit uneasy. It's a bit like the Kennedy assisination except Kennedy is dead.

I think it's stupid You are very much entitled to your opinion (however narrow-minded). There are a lot of people around here who do find it interesting who are entitled to their opinion also. It doesn't mean they believe it though. I mean God doesn't exist but that doesn't mean the bible isn't a bloody good book (in parts!)..................

I'm not narrow minded, I can't stand stupidity...
This whole "Paul Is Dead" Theory is an insult to McCartney... so, when discussing it, it feels as if you were claiming it and more idiots start to believe that it might be true. You say you don't believe so "you're not an idiot" if that's important to you...

The End started it six months. Is it becuase he is the administrator of the forum I wonder???

No sane minded person really believes in the 'Paul is dead' myth. Over the years it's become a monster of conspiracy theories, which I, and many others find quite amusing. I am constantly amazed at the lengths some people will go to to find 'clues', and invent new ones.
I would suggest to anybody who thinks it's a waste of time to talk about it, or an insult to Paul, to simply not take part in this thread.

Thank you gentlemen.
It's an intriguing story altogether. But indeed, if you don't want to know about why make a fuzz?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion - but let's not resort to personal insults if our views conflict. You can argue, debate and shout as much as you like though - Mods or admin wont be warning members for that - . :-) As I said, I personally find the Paul Is Dead story fascinating and fun to read - but yes, there are those who truly believe it! Not me! And remember, even Paul himself has had fun with it all, deliberately adding to the "clues" by calling the album of his New World Tour "Paul Is Live" - with the sleeve based on the Abbey Road LP and the number plate of the VW Beetle changed to "51 IS"!

I've always found conspiracy theories fascinating and amusing. They're fun to read. Unless Paul said he thought it was insulting, I'm inclined to keep on being amused by it. It's good to mull over the ridiculous once in a while.
Oh and thanks for all the audio clips, I've been wanting to actually hear all the stuff played backwards and such, cause I haven't had time to do it myself.
@ the paul is live cover: hehehehehe

Any story is up for discussion if it concerns The Beatles on this forum I would have thought. If people were offended by homosexuality on the forum does that mean we shouldn't mention the fact Brian Epstein was gay? It's an interesting topic and that's all. Don't bother yourself with the thread if you don't like it.

What does Paul think about the hoax?
