Technology is overtaking us and in the future we will be dependant on it. We'll be ruled by robots and we wont even know what Graham Bell did!
Agree or disagree?

We're already ruled by it. I'm writing this on a computer, and the only reason I'm able to do it is because there were computers in the rocket that helped launch the satellite that enables me to connect with the WWW. Actually we've been surrounded by technology since the industrial revolution. From Watt's Steam Engine to Stephensons Rocket. And from the moment that we invented a machine that could make other machines (the Lathe), the dye was cast.
We won't be overtaken by technology because it relies on us to invent it. And I think we're a long way off truly intelligent robots, though they are used today in manufacturing, you still can't have a meaningful conversation with one!

Blimey - you belong to a lot of forums! Where do you find the time?! I've only got about 20 posts on there. Since you started this one I expect everyone's posts on DM'S have halved. I'm on a Mac forum just in case I need some info, though hardly ever post.

I think I'll plug the Song Survivor Game if that's OK with you. (You haven't voted yet btw!) Posts on DM's have gone down by nearly 75% in the last week!!
