Hello Everyone!!
I am brushing up on my Beatles knowledge. I am currently reading George Martin's "With a Little Help From My Friends." If anyone else has or is currently, I would love to start a chat about the book!
Right now: I can't stop thinking about how George quotes John on saying "Help, and Strawberry Fields Forever" were the only true songs he had written. But if he could he would do it all over again. The process to record Strawberry fields seemed very intense, and fun. Yet, I suppose no matter what you do, if it is not the perfect vision its nothing. Could we imagine strawberry fields as something else? What else?

Have you read All You Need Is Ears by George Martin?
I have read this story before. John actually said that he would want to re-record everything again The Beatles did. I find this a total insult to George Martin and I think George would have been forgiven for chining John if he was so inclined for that remark.
Strawberry Fields is a masterpiece in songwriting and production.

I haven't read that one... I will put it on my list. Trying to read as many as possible before I start my classes in the Beatles. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes, I do find it an absolute master piece. In my top Beatles songs. I couldn't imagine want John really envisioned.
