We all know that George Martin thought that the White Album should've been a single album. So if it was up to you, what would make the 'final cut'? (Working on the idea it'd have 14 songs - including 1 or 2 from George and 1 from Ringo). Here's mine (I haven't thought about a track listing, just in the order they are on the actual album). I know people will disagree, so when you do - post you're own! Back in The USSR Dear Prudence Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da While My Guitar Gently Weeps I'm So Tired Don't Pass Me By Julia Birthday Yer Blues ...Me & My Monkey Sexy Sadie Helter Skelter Long Long Long Revolution 1

Impossible.....!
I have managed to cut it down to 24 songs. They are just too strong to turn into one CD.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done...
Back in the U.S.S.R. Dear Prudence Glass Onion Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill While My Guitar Gently Weeps Happiness is a Warm Gun Martha My Dear Birthday Yer Blues Mother Nature's Son Sexy Sadie Helter Skelter Long, Long, Long Good Night
Six each from John and Paul, two George and one Ringo. I like it as a double album myself, but it's a fun exercise to try and squeeze it down to a single.

As fun as it might be....I'd end up spending the whole day at work doing it and weighing up pros, cons and in meantime getting even further behind with the mountain of work I have on.
I am afraid Sir George was wrong on this one. White Album -double album all the way!!!
:-D

Ah yes, the old "single white album" game. I've played this before... but you know, I just love the album too much (it's my favorite Beatles album... actually just my favorite album by anyone, ever) so... yeah - I'll keep it how it is It's the songs a lot of people cut off (yes, including "Revolution #9") that help make the album special in my opinion.
