I only recently came across this and thought it was awesome:
The Beatles Live At The Washington Coliseum.
Apparently some of those songs were never sung in the US again.
I would love to get this on/onto DVD for my dad.
I’m sure he would have most of the official stuff but I doubt he has seen this as a whole concert from start to finish.
It would be a wonderful nostalgic trip back in time for him. This has to be the best concert of all time.
Does anyone know where or how I can get this?
I’m in the UK.
Thank you.

Hi. Welcome to the site. Stick around and join in the silliness. Most of the Washington concert plus Ed Sullivan and a whole bunch of home movie footage from their first U.S. visit is available on " The Beatles First U.S. Visit". I believe it's fairly easy to find.

Thank you.
I was aware of that DVD, which is available on the Amazon website.
But my dad will have seen all the Ed Sullivan stuff and apparently it only has three tracks from the Washington concert.
The whole concert was so raw and amazing, starting off with “Roll Over Beethoven”.
And completely the real deal, no fakery.
My dad would love to see that.

MegaUpload has been closed by the FBI I think! That was a joke. Just a little joke like. You know for a cheap laugh. Funny like. A little megupload blues sort of joke. A bit of the comic relief for the kids, right. By the way, it looks like a pretty cool book.

The concert has been re-mastered & restored and the whole thing should be shown in the US in August. In the meantime, they are showing 3 tracks at the Sheffield Documentary Festival on Thursday 14th June. Details here: bit.ly/LHgo43 Here's the website: bit.ly/LH3nRv For updates on the showing follow @sarahill42 on twitter. She's the moderator of the festival session that's showing the excerpts.

I love watching the clip of this concert on youtube, and how they changed the drums around every three songs to face the other side of the audience...and felt bad for Ringo as his stand was super-shaky! Also George spent a whole lot of time trying to keep from being tripped by all of the cords on the stage... But it did not seem that they were being pelted by objects nonstop as they were in the UK shows, so that was good...
