Couple of points. Did George always sing lead vocals on that track. Also never realised how high up his body George plays his guitar. pretty sure George always sung lead on this, I think he always sung this in Hamburg too.

There's a very good Beatles store in London's Baker St that i've bought many things from, this one in Vegas looks even better, i'd be like a kid in a candy shop. It's in Vegas where Love is on. It's such a shame they can't bring the show over here, they say that they'd have to build a custom built theatre for it. Well then, "If they build it we will come".https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW5Ogi6_DeQ&t=20s

There's a few of the "Kids react to the Beatles " videos on here, they are quite sweet, here's some of them trying to decipher the lyrics of "I Am The Walrus" without hearing the song or knowing who performs it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fmf5-0OXls8&t=2s I don't know why i always have to copy and paste twice for it to work on here.

I have always thought that Pat has a great voice so enjoyed hearing that version for the first time.
Always wondered if any male singer would be brave enough to tackle this track. Peter Gabriel would be a contender to create something oddly wonderful.

Peter Gabriel would be a contender to create something oddly wonderful. Someone from The Kate Bush forum has posted that Cher is going to release her fairly faithful version of Wuthering Heights from 1980 but i can't really see the point of covering this iconic classic , there are some songs not worth covering and Kate's version will always be special. Here's Cher's version with her lower register, but dear or dear what is she wearing, is this meant to be classy or sexy, i'm afraid this has fail written all over it.

If you do a cover do it from a fresh perspective. The Beatles regularly covered the songs of the girl groups and did it well. Kirsty McColl covered Billy Bragg and St Etienne (with girl vocalist did a cover of only love can break your heart) the Neil Young track and did something very different. The Cher version is weird is that her ?.

I adore Mary Hopkins version. Never heard it before. Those Mael brothers are great writers. I love Mary Hopkin's voice it's so pure. For me there are some parallels with another of my favourite's Kate Bush. When Mary started out she was more closely suited to the folk scene. No-one knew where to put her and pushed towards light entertainment and Kate was forced to go on lots of light television programmes to promote her work and answer questions about her hair and boyfriends rather than music. Mary like Kate shied away from promotion and Kate was tagged with the term "recluse" where in actual fact she's just a private person. I like this Mary Hopkin song that was written by Gallagher and Lyle.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7wSffasdwQ once agaain i have to copy and paste twice for it to work on this forum.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7wSffasdwQ

I know she was married to Tony Visconti and wasn't she linked with the Apple label and write with Paul. Well I think Paul wrote for her . Like this one And while were at it She did backing vocals on a Thin Lizzy tune that was produced by her hubby , Tony Which so happens to be off my fav Lizzy album

Here's a better youtube version of Goodbye live with Paul too.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbMJGLSVwl0.
