Not much of a TV watcher but in the nineties, X-Files and The Simpsons were staples. And in '93 some friends in N. Ireland introduced me to Red Dwarf. When I got home, it took a little while before it showed up over here, but now I've seen them all. Haven't bought the DVDs though. Over here, they're so expensive for only 6 episodes per disc.

I watch a Comedy Drama I have on DVD every year . I think it`s the finest ever to come from these shores . Boy`s From The Black Stuff . Written by Alan Bleasedale . Maybe if you around at the time it came out and a working class , worker I guess you could relate to the hard times in the early 80`s If you have never seen it , I suggest you need to A.S.A.P It`s genius and it`s set in Liverpool . I have so so many fav Quotes , (If you ever meet me I will recite them like I was there !). Is . "Giz a job, I can do lines ... And put the nets up ."

Boys from the Blackstuff was indeed a brilliant show. Sadly it was a show of the time which captured the mood of the nation. To watch it now I find it dated & depressing but still very funny just the same.

I like a lot of the 60's cult TV series, the Champions were my favourite when I was growing up. The Baron, Dept S, the Saint and the Avengers were also great TV programmes of their time. They captured the innocence and optimism of the era which is still fun to watch.
