Sir Paul McCartney calls for privacy law after learning his phone was hacked
The singer believes journalists listened to phone calls and messages at the time of his divorce from Heather Mills.Sir Paul McCartney has called for a privacy law after the police showed him evidence that his phone was hacked.The Beatles star believes that journalists from several newspapers were listening to his phone calls and messages around the time of his divorce from his second wife, Heather Mills, in 2008.He said the invasion of his privacy had had a lasting effect: "I tend not to say much on the phone now. If I leave a message, it's benign."You edit yourself according to the new circumstances of the new world. I think it would be quite good to get some sort of laws."

Sir Paul McCartney has revealed he suffers from a recurring nightmare… in which the audience walks out on a Beatles gig.In his dream Macca, 69, is singing From Me To You. He said: “I’m with the Beatles and it’s going great, then people start leaving.“I turn to the others and go, ‘Oh God! Long Tall Sally – that’ll get them back.’It all goes back to before the Beatles when Paul and John Lennon were in The Quarrymen.“The first time we ever played – pre-Beatles – I screwed up,” said Macca, whose UK tour kicks off tomorrow. “So I never played lead guitar again.

Sir Paul McCartney has joked he uses Dettol antiseptic liquid as cologne everyday rather than a normal fragrance.Sir Paul McCartney has joked he uses antiseptic cleaner as aftershave.The Beatles legend claimed he always splashes on Dettol liquid after he runs a razor across his face during an interview with Absolute Radio DJ Geoff Lloyd on his Hometime Show last night (01.12.11).When asked "what cologne do you wear yourself", the musician - who was speaking from Cologne, Germany - said: "I can't possibly reveal that . Dettol, a little dab of Dettol behind the ears I recommend."Paul also revealed he had a wonderful day when he married Nancy Shevell in London earlier this year.Speaking about the big day - which took place on October 9 on what would have been the 71st birthday of his late Beatles bandmate John Lennon - he said: "Oh, it was lovely, yeah, really great actually. We had a very relaxing day."
