Just watched part 2 on BBC 2. Found it very emotional and enjoyable at the same time. It was nice to see interviews with Pattie and Neil Aspinall . Also enjoyed part 1, especially the early stuff about Hamburg with Astrid, but felt it could have done with some commentary for people unfamiliar with The Beatles story. Also really enjoyed the programmes that followed - Beatles Covers - especially with Tina Turner and good old Shirley Bassey Also Beatlemania just reminding us how great they were. Thanks B.B.C

Just watched part 2 on BBC 2. Found it very emotional and enjoyable at the same time. Really! I watched it all in one sitting and I was about done in by it. Oddly enough, what really got to me, other than Astrid's picture of John and George in Stuart's studio, was the footage of an older George watching the Beatles performing "This Boy". It was nice to see him react the way he did, given that he still hadn't yet reached the point of looking back fondly at the Beatle days. I am really glad the BBC put it on for you folks across the pond.

I watched the Living in a material world film yesterday. Yes very enjoyable, and revealing stuff we didn't know. An excellent and emotional movie about the great man.

I've seen this documentary so many times, that I ordered the DVD from England. Its a Region 2 Code DVD but I own a Region Free DVD Player/Recorder so I can play any Region code DVD in my DVD Player. This documentary, in a way, is a sequel to THE BEATLES Anthology. Take care.
