Why does the fact that this project is tied in with a 'graphic novel' of Brian (oh dear) via a producer of a Green Day musical (oh dear) fill me with little hope for this film?
On the issue of Beatles' music within a film such as this, I'd argue that a film about Brian would be best served if it actually had no Beatles' music in it! No film has ever succeeded in recapturing it, and I believe there's a reason for that.....it can't be recaptured.
