Beatlemaniacs remind me of bible fanatics who know every word of the bible but never seem to get the important message, which can probably be summed up in a sentence. You remind me of a bible fanatic. All theory and no substance.

Maybe if you post some proof, rather than getting us to shell out a fiver for something we know nothing about, THEN we'll listen. And you're wrong about John hating peeps who don't get the message. George was quoted as saying he hates people who read into secret meanings in their songs, and that they're just songs.

How would you know, you didn"t read my book? I gave you four pages for free, three were actual quotes and one contains my interpretation of "I Want YOU". Even if you don't agree with the interpretation you can't deny the subliminal phrases in the song (unless you actually have a perception problem) in which case , please don't buy the book. What more substance do you want? The Beatles were trying something phenomenal and they had to be careful, so it's all hidden in plan site. What I tried to do was peel away the nonesense they used to cover their true intent. I did my best and I think I've made a convincing case. I've never seen anything even close. Most of what i read is so off the mark it's not worth thinking about. I got disqusted to find that after all these years (yes I was here when it all happened) people still just don't get it. I charged for the book for a reason. I don't expect or need to make money. I have a day job and do quite well. It was to eliminate people like you who just want to ridicule without putting any thought into what I'm saying.

^ This 'subliminal' crap has been around for over 40 years, and some of us have been around for longer. We don't need to read about it anymore, we've all been there, done that. And just like everyone else we've decided it's bollocks. Accept it and get a life.

It's not just about the subliminal messages. In themselves they don't mean a thing. They are just the markers pointing to the bigger message, which is not subliminal at all. If you are too lazy to look any further, then just get on with your meaningless life.

Well, I guess that's one of your options. I just hope there aren't too many of you or the world is in worse shape than I thought.

^ Me too!
Carman, if as you say, you don't need the money, then why are you charging for it? Why don't you try letting people download it for free for a week or so. If you've really made a convincing argument then word will get round, and then maybe you'll get some recognition.
I'll ignore the petty insult.

Well, I guess that's one of your options. I just hope there aren't too many of you or the world is in worse shape than I thought. I was just pulling your leg of course. You obviously take things too serious. You hear things that are not there and are finding clues that does not exist. I suggest you take your ideas and your e-book or whatever to another forum. Don't try DM's by the way, it's locked.

Didn't we once have someone on DM's into this stuff? It was probably the same person.
I don't care what anyone wants to believe. Fairies at the bottom of the garden, if you like. Just make a convincing argument for yourself, and don't insult people just because they don't agree with you. Just saying - download my book and find out - doesn't cut it.
Oh yeah, and maybe contributing to the rest of the forum might gain you some allies.

Well, I guess it's time I come clean. This thread was actually a bit of market research. I apologize for any insults, but I enjoy provoking people. (by the way, my wife agrees with the people on the forum, that I'm a pita). I don't imagine things. I'm a pretty level headed person and get paid good money for my analytical abilities. As I kind of all ready knew from past experience, Beatle forums are the worst place to plug new ideas about the Beatles. Once again, not to offend, but you guys are just jaded. I've moved on to have the book published by one of those print on demand outfits. If a copy sells for $9.95 I'll make $0.93 cents. Like I said, I'm not in it to make money. My ideas are an analysis of known facts used to prove an original premise. The Beatles mostly denied much of this and that's why it's hard to prove (although Paul has admitted to more than ever lately). I'll let you all know how it goes. In the mean time, it's bye bye.

Imagine that Beatles fans are your readers. Maybe you should try provoking your wife instead.

Too bad you can't revise the posts on this site, I'm not the best speller, at least not the first time. I provoke my wife often.

As I kind of all ready knew from past experience, Beatle forums are the worst place to plug new ideas about the Beatles. Once again, not to offend, but you guys are just jaded. I stayed clear of this conversation, mainly because although I didn't agree with your interpretation, I know the Beatles' message was love - there were plenty of other members willing to tackle your opinions and I didn't feel it necessary to add my mine. But now I DO take offence at members being deemed jaded and not open to new ideas! Utter rubbish! And if you took the time to read the other topics you will find that we are FAR from jaded! I feel insulted and totally regret encouraging you to post here. However, this topic will remain open as it is more of an indictment of your character than our members'. Bye bye.

Now at least I'm getting some meaningfull feed back.
I agree their basic message was love, but how did they get there so suddenly and what did they try to do once they did. You'd be surprised!
Don't worry about my character, I hardly have any.

Just wondering.
