???Help!
I'm doing research for my second book in the trilogy begun by Shoulda Been There, and I desperately need a copy of John Lennon Calls Me Normal. Does anyone know where I might purchase one? I've looked on E-bay, Amazon, rare book sites, and The Fest for Beatle Fans. Thanks very much! Jude

It was published as a limited edition at the Fest for Beatles Fans in New Jersey last year but according to Mojo magazine a mass-market version of the book is expected to be published imminently. I'll keep an eye on eBay for you as well

PM me please.
Maybe I can tell you about it. It was not written (as briefly released) just by Norman. It is NOT a "history" book, but more a "storytelling" tales thing. Hard to explain. If you are doing real research, it is not something you should use...
There has been talk of what to do. I do not think the book will be released as it was - without huge changes. It may or may not get these changes.

It's been re-released now, i just got the new one. There's a tiny bit more information in it now, but less photos and such. Still a VERY weird book and hard to read. Ask anyone who has it - it's quite unusual, as it doesn't go in chronological order, just randomly through his history.

Is it worth getting, Brian?

Well, not sure. It has some great stories, but some of the stories ARE made-up - "tall tales" if you will. They say so in the front of the book. So, you cannot use it as "this IS what happened" history stuff. It's very difficult to read, but like me, you probably want new unheard Beatles info regardless. Problem is - is it? I was more fascinated by the other (nonBeatles) stories in there - but not sure how much they were embellished too...
